Yes, and in western Palm Beach County that answer has been hard to come by. Royal Palm Beach, Wellington and Loxahatchee have grown into substantial communities, and halal dining out here has not kept pace. Most families have been driving east toward West Palm Beach or south toward Broward for it. We are at 9940 Belvedere Rd, Suite F, which puts halal hibachi inside the Village rather than half an hour outside it. Here is what makes hibachi halal, and what our kitchen does.

What makes hibachi halal or not

Hibachi describes how the food is cooked, not what it is made of. So the question is really about the restaurant, and the honest answer for most hibachi restaurants is no. Here is where they fail.

Sourcing.Halal starts with the supplier. Chicken, beef and lamb have to be slaughtered to halal standard, and a restaurant either has that paperwork or it does not.

The shared grill. Most hibachi kitchens run one flat top for everything on the menu. If pork is on that menu, it has been on that surface. Wiping it down between orders is not the same thing as never cooking pork at all.

The sauces.Teriyaki, eel sauce and a lot of house yum yum are made with mirin or sake. It is the most commonly missed detail in halal dining, because diners check the protein and stop there.

Flame was set up so none of that applies. The full menu is halal, top to bottom. No pork comes through the door, which means the grill has one job. Sauces are made in our own kitchen instead of bought from a distributor, so we know what is in them.

Ask those three questions anywhere else you eat hibachi: where does the meat come from, is pork cooked here, and is there mirin in the sauce. If a restaurant hesitates on any of them, you have your answer.

At our Royal Palm Beach location

We are at 9940 Belvedere Rd, Suite F, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411, on the Belvedere Road corridor. Royal Palm Beach Commons Park is close. Wellington is minutes south, Loxahatchee is west, and Southern Boulevard and Okeeheelee Park connect us east toward West Palm Beach and PBI, which is roughly twenty-five minutes out.

Hours are Monday through Saturday 11AM to 10PM and Sunday 11AM to 9PM. Holiday hours can shift around Eid and the major public holidays, so the Google Business Profile is worth a look before a long drive.

Season changes this store. From January through April the Wellington equestrian calendar brings a large international crowd into the area, a good share of whom are looking for halal and not finding much. Catering enquiries climb noticeably in that window. If you are organising for a group in season, book early. Outside season, from May through December, the pace is steadier and a weeknight walk-in is usually straightforward. Friday and Saturday from six onward stay busy year round and are worth ordering ahead for.

Getting here, and the towns we serve

Belvedere Road runs east to west across the Village, so the store is a simple drive from most of western Palm Beach County. Royal Palm Beach and the Commons Park area are minutes away. Wellington is a short run south, Loxahatchee and The Acreage are west, and Southern Boulevard connects east toward West Palm Beach in about twenty minutes.

Okeeheelee Park, Greenacres and the Turnpike are all close, and Palm Beach International is roughly twenty-five minutes out.

Between January and April the equestrian season fills this area with visitors, many of them looking for halal and not finding much. Order volume and catering enquiries both climb noticeably in that window. Everything is cooked to order, so pre-ordering online is worth doing in season, and catering dates should be booked further ahead than you would expect.

What to order in Royal Palm Beach

Chicken, Beef and Shrimp Combo, $14.85. Three proteins, two sides. The plate most families land on.

Green Dragon Roll, $9.85. Halal sushi that holds its own, which almost nothing else out here offers.

Salmon Hibachi, $11.85. Our best-selling item brand-wide.

Catering from $15.99 per person. Genuinely relevant here in season, from office lunches to private events.

How the plates are built: every hibachi comes with your choice of any two sides — fried rice, white rice, lo mein noodles or vegetables. Bento boxes arrive loaded already, with hibachi, vegetables, rice or noodles, a 4-piece California Roll, two dumplings and two spring rolls. Extra chicken is $2.95 and extra salmon, beef or shrimp is $3.95, which is usually the cheapest way to stretch one plate across two people. Individual sides run $2.95 to $4.95, and Yum Yum sauce is $0.50.

For a family in the Village, two combos and a roll covers four. For anything in season with a headcount attached, catering from $15.99 per person is the sane option, and dates between January and April need booking early.
