Two things are hard to find together in North Broward after 10PM. Sushi and halal. Plenty of places do one. Very few do both, and almost nothing does both past 10PM.

What makes sushi halal, and why it is not obvious
Hibachi is the easy case. You can see the grill and you can ask about the meat. Sushi hides its problems, and four of them are worth understanding.
The rice. Sushi rice is seasoned with a vinegar mix, and a large share of commercial sushi seasonings contain mirin or cooking sake. A vegetable roll with no protein at all can fail on the rice alone. This is the most common issue and the one nobody thinks to ask about.
The eel sauce. The dark glaze on most dragon rolls is a commercial product built on mirin. Kitchens buy it by the jug and pour it without reading the label.
The imitation crab. Surimi is a manufactured product, and the binders and flavorings differ by supplier. It is a sourcing question rather than a kitchen one.
Shared surfaces. A restaurant serving pork somewhere on the menu has a cross-contact problem before anything else.
We control for all four. There is no pork anywhere in the building at any location. Our sauces are made in our own kitchen instead of bought in, and we control for alcohol in the sushi rice, the eel sauce and the imitation crab rather than trusting a distributor label.
What travels and what does not
Sushi at 11PM in Broward usually means a drive, so this matters.
Travels well. The California Roll at $8.85, the Shrimp Tempura Roll at $8.85 and the Spicy Crab and Shrimp Roll at $8.85 all hold their shape in a container for a twenty minute drive out to Parkland or Coconut Creek.
Travels well and is worth the extra. The Green Dragon Roll at $10.85 and the Dancing Shrimp Roll at $10.85. Both are the order if sushi is the meal rather than a side.
Eat sooner rather than later. The Salmon and Avocado Roll at $11.85 is the best thing on the sushi list and it is at its best within the first half hour.
Order alongside, not instead. If you are feeding more than two people, sushi alone gets expensive fast. A Chicken Hibachi at $10.85 with two sides plus two rolls covers three people for around thirty dollars, which no all-sushi order will match.
Fall changes the late window
South Florida does not get a fall, but it does get a fall schedule. School is back, Friday night high school football runs across Coral Springs, Parkland and Coconut Creek, and the games let out somewhere between 9:30 and 10:30. Add the tail of hurricane season, when a storm week rearranges everyone's meal planning, and the last two hours of the night get busy in a way they simply are not in July.
Practical note: on a Friday after 10PM, order online before you drive over. Everything is made when the ticket lands, so a pre-order means collecting rather than standing at the counter for fifteen minutes.
The late-night sushi order, by situation
One person, want sushi and a real meal. Chicken Hibachi at $10.85 with fried rice and vegetables, plus a California Roll at $8.85. Under twenty dollars.
Two people, sushi is the point. Green Dragon at $10.85, Dancing Shrimp at $10.85, Shrimp Tempura at $8.85. Thirty dollars fifty five, three rolls, genuinely enough.
Group of four, mixed opinions. Chicken and Beef Bento at $14.85 comes with a 4-piece California Roll built in, so two bentos plus two rolls covers people who want sushi and people who do not.
Something that is not soda. Matcha Milk Tea at $8.15 or Taro Coconut Smoothie at $7.49, ten boba toppings available.
