Late October in Prince George's County means a run of gatherings that all have the same shape. A church parking lot, a school lot, a cul-de-sac, or somebody's driveway, forty people of wildly different ages, and a two hour window where everyone is standing up rather than sitting down.
That shape has specific food requirements, and most people plan for it as though it were a dinner party. It is not. We are at 3548 Crain Highway, and this is how to order for it properly.
Standing-up food beats sitting-down food
The single most useful principle for these events: if it needs a fork, a plate and a flat surface, it is the wrong order.
Trunk-or-treats and Halloween parties are grazing events. People arrive across a ninety minute window, eat with one hand while holding a bag or a child with the other, and go back for more twice. Entrees are portioned for one person eating one meal at a table, which means you buy thirty of them and half go untouched while people still leave hungry.
Wings are the correct answer. One hand, no plate, no utensil, and they hold heat in a covered tray for well over an hour.
Bento boxes are the correct answer for the adults who actually need dinner. The Chicken and Beef Bento at $14.85 is hibachi, vegetables, rice or noodles, a 4-piece California Roll, dumplings and spring rolls, in a container with a lid. Somebody can eat it on a tailgate.
Loaded fries are a trap at an outdoor event in late October. The Loaded Steak Fries at $11.85 are excellent for about ten minutes and then they are not. Order them for a house party, not a parking lot.
Wing counts for a Halloween crowd
The counts are different from a game day because the crowd skews younger and grazes longer.
Twenty people, mixed ages. 50 pieces at $67.99 across two flavors. Kids eat two or three, adults eat five or six.
Thirty five to forty five. 100 pieces at $130.99 across three or four flavors. At this size it is the lowest cost per person on the menu.
Sixty plus. Two 100-piece orders at $130.99 each, ordered at least two days ahead, plus $5.45 sides to spread it further.
Flavor split with children present. Skip the assumption that kids want plain. Honey BBQ and Garlic Parmesan go first in every age group. Teriyaki and Sweet and Tangy are the two that work for younger kids specifically. Keep Rim Fire and Mango Habanero in a clearly separate tray, because somebody's eight year old will try one on a dare and that becomes your problem.

The dietary question, handled in advance
Community Halloween events in Prince George's County draw a genuinely mixed crowd, and the food usually ends up split across two or three orders to cover it. That is the part worth solving before the day.
Our entire menu is halal at every location. There is no halal section and no special order to place. No pork is served, stored or cooked anywhere on the premises, and our sauces are made in our own kitchen rather than bought from a distributor, which covers the mirin and cooking sake that disqualifies most commercial teriyaki.
Tofu Hibachi at $10.85 and Tofu Bento at $13.85 cover vegetarians from the same order.

Timing
Everything is cooked when the ticket lands. For a party, that is the feature and the constraint.
Call 240-206-8269 rather than using the app for anything over 50 pieces, and call at least two days ahead for the last weekend of October, which is the busiest stretch of the fall.
Set a pickup time twenty to thirty minutes before you actually want to serve, not at the moment guests arrive. Wings in a covered tray hold well for an hour. Wings still sitting in our kitchen do not help anyone.
